Our agenda
Welcome to the Wickersley Community Plan website. This site has been created to enable as many people as possible to view the Community Plan for the area.
Everyone has an agenda (those that tell you they don’t, definitely have one); ours is to make Wickersley a better place.
The Plan has been developed over a number of years by a group of volunteers who have asked local people what they think of the area, this information has been collected and grouped into themes. These themes have then been shared with key stakeholders (the Police, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and Wickersley Parish Council), to form working groups that will start to address some of the key issues. Some of these issues have been identified and dealt with, some will take longer, some will never be achieved (we live in the real world, but are prepared to work for something better).
We trust that you will enjoy looking at the site and will find the content both informative and thought provoking.
